A route is a part of the trip: a full day or a leg of it. For example, an evening stroll right after landing works well as its own route. Points inside a route form a road, and the time is calculated from the day's start.
Route fields
- Name — "Day 1 — Arrival and Rome", "Morning in the Vatican", and so on.
- Date and start time — the reference point for the whole day's schedule. For example, 09:00 after breakfast or 17:30 after landing.
- Default travel mode — set for all points in the route at once: by car 🚗, on foot 🚶 or by public transport 🚇. Each point can override it.
- Description and icon — for convenience and navigation only, they don't affect route calculations.
Each day has its own map
A route has its own map, point list and timeline. This is handy: one day — one map, with no visual noise from the rest of the trip.
Day notes and tasks
You can attach notes (e.g. "leave by 8:30") and tasks to a route. They help you keep track of the specifics of a particular day.

Bober tip
Split a long day into 2–3 routes — the timeline becomes easier to read and the time calculations are more accurate.
